Driver's Foot-well Installation

Location of the Rear connector moved from the back of the central console to the left side of the central console, next to the driver's footwell area. Connector and cable is the same as for Rear installation.

Standard [rear] Installation

Standard installation for most 3/Y models, except 2023 Model Y SR Austin Build

For Model 3/Y with AMD Ryzen MCU

Tesla Model 3 2021 - 2023 & Tesla Model Y 2021+ Standard vs advanced connection

Rear Connection (standard):
It is fast and easy to install at the back of the central console, providing access to over 95% of all actions. However, features like Blind Spot Monitoring, Autopilot Penalty Prevention, and Muting the ISA system will not work with this installation method!

Front Connection (advanced):
It is installed at the front right A-pillar, which comes on all AMD Ryzen cars produced after 2020 and some late 2020 Intel models. This method provides access to 100% of all actions, including Blind Spot Monitoring, Autopilot Penalty Prevention, and Muting the ISA system. *If your car has an Intel processor, first check if it has an OBD port at this location.
